October 13, 2017

The Social Security Administration has announced the Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2018. The COLA will increase 2.0 percent beginning on December 29, 2017.

April 14, 2017

2017 Income Limits have been published! They are effective 4/14/17 and must be in use no later than 5/28/17. Be sure to check the MTSP limit chart to determine which income limits to use for your property.

January 1, 2017

With passage of the HR 3221, HUD is required to gather demographic information for LIHTC properties. It is optional on tenants’ past but management must make a ‘best guess’ if not provided. Please begin using this TIC immediately.

Spectrum has received confirmation from HUD that there are some possible errors with HERA limits. We recommend you hold off on instituting new limits until advised further. The issue should be resolved in the next week or so.
