Spectrum is a recognized leader in the affordable housing industry; and specifically with the federal low income housing tax credit program (LIHTC), which we have been involved with since its inception. Our extensive experience contracting with State Housing Agencies as the Authorized Delegate sets us apart from any other company offering compliance monitoring services. For over ten years we have performed all or part of the State compliance monitoring requirements for 10 State Housing Agencies. We contract with private entities including management companies, equity funds, syndicators, general partners, and limited partners to perform all or part of their compliance monitoring needs. Each year, under such private contracts, we review approximately 10,000 tenant files for over 400 projects in virtually every state. In addition, we train thousands of people on LIHTC Compliance, Fair Housing, HUD updates, and Rural Housing each year.
